About me

I am a self taught artist with a love of fine detail and tiny brushes, using watercolour and acrylics as my medium.

I particularly enjoy painting beautiful ceramics, and subjects from the natural world such as birds, animals and flowers.

My watercolour paintings start with a detailed freehand drawing in pencil, before the paint is applied in gradual washes and the detail is added with tiny brushstrokes.

Exhibitions

I have exhibited a selection of miniature paintings in the Hilliard Society of Miniaturists’ Annual Exhibitions in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022 in Wells, Somerset.

I took part in Swindon Open Studios in September 2024.
